- You can currently purchase a CD32 for around 130-200 from
- most mail order companies in the UK.
-
- Add this to the Total price of an SX1 or SX32
-
- SX32 - 240 Inc A1000 Compact Keyboard
- SX1 - 220 Inc PC Style Keyboard
-
- Ext Floppy from 20-80 DD & HD
-
- A NEW A1200 costs 399.99 from Amiga Technologies.
- and you need a CDROM DRIVE on top of this to access
- CDs...
-
- When connecting a CD32 to any other Amiga, file transfer
- is really slow. an SX1 or SX32 setup give instant CD access!
-
- I have used the CD32 NetworkCDs 1&2 and when they crash its
- a real pain up the backside, having to reboot both machines
- and start again....
-
- Its upto you, but in our office we have 3 SX1+CD32s with
- 4-8Mb and 80-200Mb Harddisks and they work great. We even
- have on of the CD32+SX1 connected to the Internet via
- a 14.4 modem and Ibrowse and THOR.. it works great, better
- than some scummy PeeCEE + Netscape setup.
